H O M E :   T H E   H O R R O R   S T O R Y

I call this movie an equal opportunity offender.  A review on the IMDb calls it "weird".  Well, that it is, but it's also fun.  This feature stars Richard Beymer (West Side Story), Grace Zabriskie (Twin Peaks, Big Love), Tracy Nelson (Melrose Place), and Ed Wasser (Babylon 5).

My friend David Horne asked some of his friends to participate in a very funny vocals recording session, where I asked the guys to rhythmically mumble nonsense lines such as "ol-lo, mo-lo-lo".

Director Temi Lopez asked me to incorporate mambo music which he described as sexy but funny.  So I studied some Perez Prado recordings.  The result is a bizarre mix of mambo and Bernard Herrmann, something that, at least to my knowledge, has never been attempted before, or since.  ;-)
